Stargazing 2012

Happy New Year! As one year moves into another and the Earth continues its journey around the Sun, what's changed? Well, nothing much but everything at the same time! We are going through a transformation - personally, spiritually, energetically and collectively. Nothing and no one seems to be escaping from this! Whatever your perspective as to the influence of the planets, it seems hard to deny that change is in the air; it is everywhere, all around, on every level of consciousness and Being. Yet it is hard to grasp or understand, and this is because, in so many ways it is so subtle, that it may not feel like much is happening.

However, at a deeper level, we can sense the movement and shift; and whilst this may be hard to quantify or substantiate, it seems clear that it is going on whether we want it to or not. What is this change? What is happening? Well, it seems that we are becoming more awakened and more conscious of the true potential within, and this is inspiring us to see the full potential without as well.

There are many views and opinions as to the significance of 2012 spiritually, individually, collectively and globally. From DNA re-programming, to ascension to Armageddon; the planet is rife with theories, fears and hopes. Yet when we go within, right to the core of our Beings, things become clearer and simpler, and as we journey through 2012, it seems to be the simplicity that matters most: living simply, living joyfully, living spiritually and living consciously.

The world is already undergoing major change, from civil wars and the fall of dictators, to freedom of speech and shifting beliefs. In some ways the world feels in chaos, it feels unpredictable; a powder keg with a lit match just a few feet away. Yet, once again, when we go within, this chaos subsides as clarity surfaces...

As human beings, we love to complicate life! We get tangled up in complexities and get lost in the ensuing chaos. Yet, deep within, when we move beyond this, we realise that life really isn't that complicated, it's just fear, repeating patterns, conditioning and pain that keeps us locked in the cycle. This may sound simple but it is not, for how many of us get trapped in repeating cycles and unable to find the freedom that we so desperately seek? Fear is a powerful force; it cannot simply be locked away.

However, there comes a time when the need to move beyond fear and beyond these repeating patterns grows stronger than the lethargy to remain. Lethargy seems the right choice of word, for it feels heavy and unmanageable; akin to walking through treacle. Whilst few would actually choose to remain in this place, sometimes the familiar is easier to cope with and cling to, and sometimes life just gets in the way preventing us from being able to see a clear route free.

As 2012 progresses, it seems that the need to extract ourselves from the treacle grows in strength as each of us begins to take back the power and the control within. Whilst we may not be able to know for sure what's around every corner, it seems that the more we are centred and focused within, the more we can handle whatever life throws at us.

This is a year of awakening, a time to realise the power within and to embrace our full potential. It is a time to move beyond fear to a place of love and bliss, and it is a time to take full responsibility for our choices, actions and decisions in life.

2012 looks set to be a year of shifting perspectives, shifting ideals and shifting beliefs as each of us is taken on a journey right to the centre of the Universe; to the centre of our Soul. This is not a journey for the feint-hearted, nor is it necessarily an easy ride (although that is a matter of perspective!), this is a once in a lifetime chance to truly shine...

As we step into January 2012, the planets begin a sacred and beautiful dance in the Solar System as they always do, year after year after year. Yet somehow, there is more passion, intensity and energy in our hearts, and in our lives, as we begin to feel the magic flowing more freely. In essence, this magic is an awareness of the infinite power and potential of the Universe and the realisation that we are Divine Beings. This goes way beyond ego to a place of love, humility and acceptance. This is not about being holier than thou, it is about stepping into that divinity, and realising that this is our natural state of being!

Whilst the discombobulation inevitably continues as the pendulum swings from side to side as we strive for balance in all areas of life, it seems that the more we can relax into the process or the flow, the easier we will be able to find that balance.

Of course, life caries worries and stresses, responsibilities and duties, and whilst it would be great to surrender totally to the 'love and abundance of the Universe' it is hard to put into practice because so few of us can actually let go completely of the responsibilities of life. Yet, this is partly the point, for the longer we remain trapped in the cycle of conditioning that keeps us turning the wheel, heads down and contained, the harder it becomes to break free from the conditioning and limited thinking in order to explore the abundance that remains unexplored on all levels of our Being. A paradox? A conundrum? Or good old sod's lore?!

It seems that 2012 is the year to realise that this isn't a paradox; we simply need to re-train our psyches and our minds to the infinity of the Universe. We are not contained purely in our bodies; we are energy and therefore we are everything! It is time to embrace this, to feel it, and to live it, and to begin to see huge positive, life affirming shifts on all levels of our Being.

This looks set to be a powerful and special year. 2012 is a year to let go of clutter on all levels, to let go of fear and doubt, to honour our gifts and to reclaim our power. It is time to eat, sleep, breathe and live our Truth (our wyrd) and it is time to take responsibility for our choices, actions and decisions (even if that decision is not to decide!).

As we move closer to the Divine on all levels, we can look forwards to embracing Unity, and once we can truly be open to the flow and the magic of our own divinity we can allow this to flow freely, abundantly and vibrantly. Let the magic begin...
